Computer ethics can be defined as the rules and good behaviours that guide how people use computers and technology in a proper and responsible way.
Examples of computer ethics Protect the computer from dust, unplug when not in use, do not use software without permission.
ABUSE/MISUE OF COMPUTER
- 1️⃣ Spreading lies, fake news, or bad messages online.
- 2️⃣ Cyberbullying — using the internet to insult or threaten others.
- 3️⃣ Stealing people’s private information (hacking).
- 4️⃣ Using the internet to cheat in exams or homework.
- 5️⃣ Watching or sharing bad or harmful materials.
- 6️⃣ Scamming people to collect their money through the internet.
- 7️⃣ Downloading or using software and music without permission (piracy).
- 8️⃣ Sending harmful viruses or programs to damage other people’s computers.
