Substance abuse is the harmful use of substances such as alcohol, tobacco, or chemicals that can affect health, behavior, and social life.

  1. Enforces laws against the production, trafficking, and use of illegal drugs

  2. Arrests and prosecutes drug traffickers

  3. Provides rehabilitation for drug addicts


MISUSE OF DRUGS AND HERBAL MEDICINE
  1. Taking drugs or herbal medicine without medical supervision

  2. Using drugs or herbal medicine to get high or for recreation

  3. Sharing drugs or herbal medicine meant for one person with others

  4. Overdosing or combining drugs/herbal medicine recklessly

  5. Believing herbal medicine is always safe and using it in excess
